Adv. (Dr.) Swapnil

Adv. (Dr.) Swapnil Bangali holds an extensive array of qualifications, including a B.Com., LL.B., DLL & LW, DTL, LL.M., DIPL, NET, and a Ph.D. in Information Technology Law. He also completed a Certificate Course in Cyber Security and Cyber Laws from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar.

Dr. Bangali is the President and Founder Trustee of the Vishwaguru Foundation, Vadodara. He is a member of the Committee to examine the admissibility of information received through Exchange of Information on Request as evidence in prosecution proceedings with the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi (2024). He serves as the Honorary Director of the Centre for Information Communication Technology and Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, and is an Honorary Member of several councils and committees at the same institution. He is also an Associate Partner at Vishwaguru Omniscient Legal Consultancy & Law Firm, with offices in Pune, Vadodara, and New Delhi.

Dr. Bangali completed his LL.B. at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and was admitted to the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa in 2004. He earned his LL.M. in Constitutional Law and Legal Order in 2006, along with additional diplomas and certifications. In 2005, he passed the Judicial Magistrate examination in Maharashtra. He has served as an Associate Professor at Auro University, Surat, and as a faculty member at Symbiosis Law School, Pune. In 2015, he was invited to present on Police Law and Constitutional Law at the Berlin School of Economics and Law in Germany.

Dr. Bangali’s academic contributions include over 225 guest lectures and sessions at prestigious institutions worldwide. He has co-authored Forensic Evidence and Law with Hon’ble Justice Sanjeeb Panigrahi, published by Thomson & Reuters in April 2024, and authored Law Relating to Contraventions under the Information Technology Act, 2000. His research and publications are widely recognized in the legal community.
