Prof. Sonakshi Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Law

A dedicated and passionate legal educator with a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and legal scholarship. I completed my LL.M. from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, specializing in Family Law, and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law. My academic interests include Constitutional Law, Family Law, Interpretation of Statutes, Intellectual Property Rights, and other areas of legal studies.
I am committed to creating an engaging and student-centric learning environment through clear explanations, practical examples, case-law analysis, and contemporary legal developments. My teaching approach focuses on connecting theoretical legal concepts with their practical application while encouraging students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of the law. I am also keenly interested in legal research and contributing to academic scholarship and the advancement of legal education.
